Direct Deposit is a safe, proven, confidential method of receiving a payment. Money is electronically transferred from a company or organization into your checking or savings account.
Direct Deposit is secure, convenient and fast. You will save time by not waiting in lines at the bank, and it gives you access to your money one to four days earlier than a check.
First, find out if your employer offers Direct Deposit. If it is available, your Human Resources or Payroll Department can give you the authorization form or you can fill out our authorization form and give it to your employer. If Direct Deposit is not available, ask your Human Resources representative to consider offering it.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve Banks are sponsoring Go Direct, a campaign to motivate people who receive federal benefit checks to use direct deposit.

Extended Transaction Cut-off Time
Unlike many banks, you can make last-minute deposits with our extended transaction cut-off time of 6:00 p.m. All transactions made before this time on business days, Monday through Friday, will be credited to your account that night.
Night Depository Drops Available 24/7
Whether you’re unable to get to the Bank by closing, or you just don’t want to wait in line, you can save time by placing simple deposits or transfers into our Night Depository boxes located at every office. Just slip simple deposits in the envelope slot, (larger deposits requiring a bank bag must use a key available for just $2), and your transactions will be posted to your account the following business day.
Overdraft Protection - Personal Reserve Account*
Our Personal Reserve Account will ensure that you always have enough funds to cover your checks, even if the checks you've written exceed your balance. The Personal Reserve Account will cover your purchase and automatically set you up on a convenient payment plan. This plan is for you if you have a tendency to keep small amounts in your checking account and are not sure exactly what your balance is when shopping.
This type of protection saves you expensive overdraft charges that could add up.
This protection can be attached to many of our checking accounts and is free to our Advantage account customers.
